If I can do it, so can you.

Armed with a Ph.D. in sociology, and an obsession with the perfect pour-over, I spend my days working on my debut novel about complexities of mother-daughter relationships and how generational trauma can both imprison and ultimately transform us when we find the courage to confront painful truths.

When I’m not writing, I’m accidentally-on-purpose eavesdropping at indie cafes for dialogue inspiration, playing with my 2 and 4 year old, and taking my cute and grumpy Cavalier King Charles Spaniel for walks around town.

Over the years, I’ve most enjoyed mastering the art of getting lost in hidden bookstores and finding my way back home—usually.
